Students studying at the Adventist College of Nursing are sponsored by Penang Adventist Hospital, another hospital, or self-sponsored.

Hospital Sponsored Students

Applicants with excellent academic results are selected by the hospital. Upon successful completion of the course, students are bonded to the sponsoring hospital for a period of five (5) years for Diploma and four (4) years for AN. During the education period the benefits include:

• Registration fee
• Free tuition
• Monthly stipend
• Subsidized meals and lodging
• Medical benefits according to policy
• Clinical uniforms and shoes
• Transportation for field experience
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
• Fees for using the facilities of Ministry of Health Malaysia

Self-Sponsored Students

The course fees per year for self-sponsored student include:

• Registration fee
• Tuition fee RM7,750/semester RM46,500/course
• Hostel accommodation RM950/semester
• Clinical uniform and shoes
• Transportation for field experience
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
• Fees for using the facilities of Ministry of Health Malaysia

Refund Policy

No refund of registration fee.
Full refund during the first two (2) weeks of school
75% refund after two weeks and until the 5th week.
50% refund during 5th week and until the 7th week.
No refund after the end of the 6th week.

* Self-sponsored students are responsible for own meals, medical care, textbooks, examination fees and graduation fees.
* Candidates are required to buy hospitalization insurance. If students have their own insurance, please attach certified copies.
