The 8th Asia Pacific Evidence-Based Medicine & Nursing Workshop and Conference, to be held in beautiful Malaysia for the first time, caters to those with a variety of experiences and expectations, from novices who wish to find out more about Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) or Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN), to experienced hands who wish to refresh their exposure and to the highly motivated who wish to teach EBM or EBN.

Featuring world-renowned EBM "Guru" Professor Gordon Guyatt and other esteemed McMaster University faculty members, this workshop and conference will cover critical appraisal of journal articles, literature search and how to use published literature in daily clinical practice.

Tutorial Group Selection
The following will help you select the appropriate level of tutorial for you.
Category A (Basic)
You have not attended a critical appraisal workshop before.
You want to understand its principles.
Category B (Advanced)
You have previously attended a workshop on critical appraisal.
You want to further your knowledge.
Category C (Teaching)
You have experience in critical appraisal.
You want to learn how to teach Evidence-Based Medicine.
Category D (Nursing)
NB: For Category B & C, we assume that you have working knowledge of critical appraisal.
