LoveSoy Contributes To Penang Hospital's Heart Patient's Fund (November 28, 2001)

THE Heart Patients’ Fund of Penang Adventist Hospital received a RM541 donation from Chop Tong Guan Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of LoveSoy, a soy milk powder product.

The amount donated was raised at LoveSoy promotions held during the hospital’s “Care For Your Heart” talk and its “Smart Heart” campaign recently.

LoveSoy marketing manager Jeannie Low Kee said the company decided to contribute part of the sales proceeds to the hospital as part of its charity programme.

The Heart Patients’ Fund is for Malaysian children and adults who cannot afford the cost of corrective heart surgery.

Established in 1988, it has helped more than 200 people.

Donations may be sent to the Heart Patients’ Fund c/o Rachel Phoon, Development Co-ordinator of Penang Adventist Hospital, 465, Jalan Burma, 10350, Penang.

LoveSoy is a vitamin and calcium enriched drink, which can also be used as a subsitute for coconut milk in cooking.
