Teddicare Montessori Centre, Penang, held the first Kids Charity Carnival recently to help raise funds for the Penang Adventist Hospital’s Heart Patients Fund.

Organized by the centre with the help of the parents, friends and children, the objective of the carnival was also to teach the young to care for the underprivileged.

The sale of the food and other articles raised a total of RM1,000, which was donated to the hospital’s fund to help patients undergo corrective heart surgery and lead normal lives.

The fund’s chairman, Sim Chooi Eng, received the cheque from the children.

There were also games and entertainment provided by Academy Music Universal at the carnival.
