The liven up the situation, Penang Parkroyal Resort turned up and organized a belated Mother’s Day celebration recently.

Resorts public relations manager Christina Tan and her coordinator Elly Lee presented each mother with a bouquet of flowers, clothes, and toys for their children.

The children were the first batch of 45 Cambodian children to benefit from Gift Of Life 2, a programme under Rotary International in co-operation with the hospital.

Under the programme, children requiring heart surgery will be flown in on 10 mercy flights over the next four months.
