In another major charity project of the hospital, a dinner in aid of the Dialysis Centre of the hospital has been planned to take place as follows:

The event shall feature a classical duet performance by husband-and-wife team Jascha Y. Shimano and Saori Ninomiya. As the resident conductor of the Penang State Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (PESSOC), this is the second time Shimano and his wife, Ninomiya perform together for a worthy cause in Penang.

Coming in to play his part for charity is Penang-born designer, Jing Ooi displaying a selection of Maison de Poupée gowns by Penang models, which shall be matched with Piaget jewellery and timepieces. Exquisite pieces from Maison de Poupée (shop located in The Garage opposite E & O hotel), released only for the evening’s function, shall be auctioned off to raise more funds for the Centre.

The ballroom shall be decorated in the styles of the decadent 1920s. In keeping with the theme of ‘Retro Chic’, guests shall arrive dressed in fashions of that era.

President and Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Teddric Jon Mohr said, "The event is targeted to raise RM100,000 for the Dialysis Centre which treats 200 patients weekly."
