Having provided services to patients from Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Europe and the Philippines, we are aware that future needs and expectations will increase.

In anticipation, the Adventist Heart and Vascular Centre has been set up with the purpose of meeting the needs of an ever increasing number of adults and children with heart and vascular problems. These members of the community require care and assistance either for a new lease of life or to improve the quality of life.

Specially trained teams are dedicated for surgery, intensive care, outpatient and inpatient care.The centre has specially trained personnel for cardiac catheterization, emergency management and rehabilitation.

Penang Adventist Hospital does over 260 heart surgeries a year which meets the criteria of JAMA that reported mortality rates are 40% lower in hospitals which perform more than 200 cases a year.Related: CNN Report.

1 GE C-Arm that can be used for vascular procedures and angiograms - 3 angiograms can be done simultaneously
1 Electromedic Cell saver for blood recovery in complicated surgeries
10 State of the art Intensive Cardiac Care beds well-equipped with HP monitors for invasive and non-invasive monitoring
5 modern fully equipped HEPA filtered Operation Theatres built to American standards
