Welcome to Adventist Wellness Centre!

This acts as a guide to facilitate your Wellness health check program.

1. The duration of this screening program takes about 4 to 5 hours estimation(5-6 hours for Supreme Wellness) starting from the appointment time upon arrival at the centre.
2. After registration at the Reception, you will be given a Checklist (Coloured Paper) for the package that you have selected.
3. You will then be required to complete a Lifestyle Questionnaire on a set of forms. Kindly submit the completed questionnaire to the reception.
4. Next, you will be attended to shortly for Lab Tests(Urine, Stool, and Blood test).
   Note: You need to come fasting for blood test(at least 8-10 hours). If you are not fasting, please inform the Wellness Staff for futher advise.
5. The clinical nurse will arrange for you to have several clinical tests done at the centre; ECG(Resting/Stress on Treadmill), Height & Weight, Vision Check, Glaucoma Test, Flexibility Test, Body Fats Analysis and Blood Pressure.
6. If time permits, you will be meeting the Wellness Doctor for Physical Examination first before leaving for the Diagnostic Dept(X-ray Dept) otherwise the doctor will see you after the X-ray department procedures.

For your Information:

• Procedures that will be carried out in the Diagnostic Dept(X-ray Dept) are: Chest X-ray, Ultrasound Abdomen or Pelvis or both, Mammogram, DEXA Bone Density, MRI, CT Scan and other related procedures.
• If your package includes Ultrasound Abdomen, you need to fast at least 5 hours before the procedure starts.
• If your package includes Ultrasound Pelvis/Prostate, before the procedure start drink plain water only until you have full bladder. Do not urinate until the procedure end, the Radipographer will advise you accordingly. Usually the Ultrasound Abdomen & Pelvis will be done at the same time unless failure on preparation on either one of the procedure.
• If your package includes MRI Abdomen - you need to fast at least 5 hours before the procedure starts. MRI Pelvis/Prostste - drink plain water until you feel you have half-full bladder and please do not urinate until the procedure ends. The Radiographer will advise your accordingly.
• Your appointment for X-ray Dept procedures is set and the Wellness Staff will keep you inform.
• Before you leave for X-ray Dept, you will be briefed accordingly. A meal Voucher or Bread Voucher will be issued as per your preferences.


7. Please remember, you can only take your meal AFTER the Blood Test/ Ultrasound Abdomen/ MRI Abdomen/ CT Scan is carried out successfully.
8. Upon completion of all tests/ procedures, Wellness Staff will arrange the appointment (date and time) for Report Review with Wellness Doctor.

Additional Test(s) are available upon request at the Wellness Registration Counter. Note, please enquire before your check start or ends. Please approach the Wellness Staff for futher assistance.
