Since its inception in 1924, Penang Adventist Hospital has always striven to meet the current needs of the community. In keeping with its aim, the Nephrology Unit was set up in 1989 to provide specialized services for people with various types of kidney ailments.

The incident of renal disease and kidney failure is on the rise in Malaysia. Diabetic complications, conditions such as kidney stones, nephritis, and other inflammations render the kidney incapable or only partially capable of good function.

We offer the services of an experienced Nephrologist (Kidney Specialist) as well as Renal Care Centre staffed with well-trained nurses. Together they are constantly seeking to serve those who need their services with the latest therapeutic techniques in order to ensure the highest quality of care.
